Our annual fundraising appeal is underway and we need your help. This year we completed the Zion’s Children home, expanded our operations on Eleuthera and continued our medical and humanitarian assistance to Haiti.
In order for this vital work to continue we urgently need your assistance. Bahamas Habitat relies entirely on the good will and contributions from people like you. We receive no government assistance whatsoever and without you – there is no Bahamas Habitat.
Our 2013 plans include the following:
- Staff and open the Zion’s Children’s Home to provide a loving environment for 16 children who desperately need it.
- Create a training program in carpentry and mechanical skills to help our friends on Eleuthera better help themselves.
- Expand our flight missions to the islands (including Haiti) to bring medical and humanitarian aid to people whoso desperately need it.
