Residents and businesses on Grand Turk Island, just south of the Bahamas and north of Hispaniola, were dealt a devastating blow as Hurricane Ike sideswiped the small independent island nation. These photos and videos show the extent of the destruction which left the communications and electrical infrastructure decimated and demolished the majority of the buildings there.
